Leadership Legacy: Our Founding Fathers.

Our Founder.

Michael Adeniyi Bamidele (1929–2007) was a former police officer who became the “Apostle of Evangelism” after a life-changing conversion in 1972. From humble beginnings in Ayede-Ekiti, Nigeria, he rose to found the Christ Healing Evangelical Church (CHEC), transforming it from a small Lagos apartment gathering into an international ministry with branches in Nigeria, Ireland, and the U.S. He also established the Comprehensive Institute of Christian Theology, a Bible college that has trained countless ministers across denominations.

Bamidele was a man of deep faith, tireless prayer, and an unshakable commitment to spreading the gospel. Despite early challenges, including spiritual opposition and legal battles, he led CHEC with courage and vision, securing its place as a unifying force in global evangelism.
